I love trying new things. I think it comes from growing up with three brothers and needing to prove I could do anything the boys could. Admittedly, it was often false courage and it didn’t always turn out well for me, but I wasn’t about to let fear cause me to miss out. I still wear that mask of fortitude at times, like when I tried skydiving (I would definitely jump again!), and when I signed up for swimming lessons in middle age because I never learned as a kid and had a fear of water. In my creative pursuits, I often jump right into new projects without a definite plan or pattern, and whatever happens, happens.
