Our national discourse over the past two years has centered in great part on diversity, equality, and inclusion. The trio even has an acronym — DEI — and it has become a focal point of companies big and small in both hiring practices and hierarchy. In other words, from the mailroom to the boardroom. Entry level to management. And while it’s been a top-of-mind issue for many over the years, there appears, finally, to be an even greater sense of urgency, commitment, and genuine desire to achieve a more diverse culture in the workplace as well as throughout society today.
