THE COSY SEASON There’s something so refreshing about a change in season, and autumn’s gentle turn into winter would have to be one of my favourite season switches. It’s that chill in the air while the sun still shines, a desire to dive into drawers packed with chunky throws and returning home after a long Sunday walk with the dog to the welcoming aroma of a roast that’s been slow cooking for hours. Although summer will probably always have my heart (I’m a sucker for lazy swims in the sea), winter really is a magical time of year. What influenced and inspired your latest collection, MAISON 01? “My travels abroad. The Paris flea markets. Mixing raw with refined and vintage with modern. We wanted to allow people to customise pieces, so that they felt like they were a part of the design journey, too.” What is your favourite piece from the collection? “The ‘Klaxon’ side table is my favourite. It’s a really strong piece.” How would you describe your personal interior style? “Minimalistic yet sensuous. I absolutely love combining textures, colour and form together to create graceful, timeless narratives and immersive experiences.” What are your biggest influences? “Music, art and books.
