THE COSY SEASON There’s something so refreshing about a change in season, and autumn’s gentle turn into winter would have to be one of my favourite season switches. It’s that chill in the air while the sun still shines, a desire to dive into drawers packed with chunky throws and returning home after a long Sunday walk with the dog to the welcoming aroma of a roast that’s been slow cooking for hours. Although summer will probably always have my heart (I’m a sucker for lazy swims in the sea), winter really is a magical time of year. And it’s an especially good season for decorating; perfect for dipping in to deep colour and warm and cosy textures, or adding lovely layers, such as those throws that are not only fabulous…
