So on trend In my job, I’m exposed to a lot of looks and trends. Many of them I love, some of them I look forward to passing by quickly. But what fascinates me the most is people’s reactions to them. One homeowner’s dream design is another’s anathema. And that’s what makes home decorating so personal. Like art, interior styles can provoke strong reactions. A room that’s too bold for one person can make another feel joyfully uplifted. Minimal can also translate as calm. Small as cosy. And so on. That’s why I encourage everyone to have confidence and conviction in whatever their style is and ignore whatever other people think.
