paper ice lollies

What’s your flavour? “Both my younger sisters have July birthdays and I wanted to design a fun alternative to birthday bunting. As children, our summers were spent splashing in the paddling pool. We had ice lollies, too – lollies that would be considered retro now. There was always a squabble over the last Fab lolly! I designed my template with those retro lollies in mind. You can use the patterned papers with your kit to make several different lollies and they look great strung together as bunting. For a quirky look, try covering both sides of the stick with contrasting washi tape. You could even embellish the lollies with seed beads for faux hundreds and thousands.” Angela was Commissioning Editor for Papercraft Inspirations before setting up her own craft business. www.angelapooledesign.etsy.com Turn to page 96 for…
