62 per cent of brits have changed their diet to get healthier

A survey conducted by YouGov, as part of the British Nutrition Foundation’s Healthy Eating Week 2021 has found that nearly two-thirds of Brits have made a change to their diet in order to get healthier in the last year. The BNF (nutrition.org.uk) found that 33 per cent of people said that they have included more fruits and vegetables in their diets, 29 per cent have started cooking healthier meals, and 32 per cent have been drinking more water. Over half (57 per cent) have made changes to cook more healthily since May 2020, with 1 in 5 finding healthier recipes to make. Commonly referred to as nuts, cashews are actually the seeds from the cashew tree; native to Brazil, the tree is now cultivated in many warm climates across the world. The seeds that we know as nuts are nutritionally rich; they are high in unsaturated fats, low in sugar, and a source of fibre and protein. Norfolk-based vegan truffle maker Booja-Booja (boojabooja.com) has launched four new flavours and five new packs. The new flavours: Chocolate Orange, Deeply Chocolate, Chocolate Salted Caramel, and Honeycomb Caramel are each available in their own 8-pack. They also appear in a sixteen-truffle gift box called The Signature Collection. Managing Director Matt Gilding, said: “We’re even more excited about this launch than any other of recent years.
