There’s double trouble in store for Sarah this week, as she’s run over by Tim after returning from Italy – and then finds out that she’s pregnant with Callum’s baby! Arriving back on the Street from her much-needed getaway, Sarah is determined to do her best to move on in the wake of her ex-boyfriend Callum’s grisly death – but it’s not long before she clashes with her brother David again. And as she storms off following another furious row between the pair, Tim’s car appears from nowhere… “David starts sticking his oar in as usual, but Sarah gives him short shrift,” sighs Tina O’Brien, who plays her. “She’s not paying attention when she walks out into the road, and ends up in the path of Tim’s van!” At the…

As the Platts desperately try to move on from all the grisly goings-on with Callum, Tina reckons it’s going to be difficult for them if Sarah decides to go ahead and have the bad boy’s baby… “She has to think about what it will be like if she has this child – how it will be to have that reminder of him with her every single day,” muses Tina. “Sarah wonders how she’d be able to not just live a lie, but lie to her child about who its father is. She’s utterly torn, and so unsure about what to do next. She doesn’t want to tell anyone about the baby – but it won’t be long before someone does find out…”…

David can barely contain his horror this week – as heartbroken Pollard hits a new low, and becomes a prisoner in his own home! Following a shock ‘not guilty’ verdict at Chrissie’s trial, David grows ever more concerned by his dad’s behaviour. Incensed Pollard locks himself away with the memories of his beloved Val – and when David arrives to find his dad boarding up the property, he realises that drastic measures need to be taken… “All David wants to do is look after his dad, but Pollard has been horrible to him,” says Matthew Wolfenden, who plays David. “He’s pushing everyone who loves him away because he wants to wallow in his grief. Pollard is getting worse, and David fears that he’s having a nervous breakdown.” At the start…

Although David and his dad are struggling through testing times, Matthew reckons some Christmas cheer might repair their father-son relationship. Pollard is going to be a central character over the festive season, and the star hopes that Diane, Tracy and Finn will offer to help him too. “I’ve got my fingers crossed that David and Pollard will make up,” says Matthew. “People often come up to me and have a chat about what’s going on. Most viewers seem pretty angry at Pollard. After all, David is only trying to help! I hope that Pollard can come out of this downward spiral and bring his loved ones back into his life.”…

Pregnant Stacey rides a roller coaster of emotions this week, as two big twists in the tale threaten to expose her baby secret! EastEnders viewers will know that Shabnam’s husband Kush is actually the father of Stacey’s child – a devastating truth that the pair have decided to keep under wraps. But as Kush’s curious mum, Carmel, notices the tension between the guilty pair, she comes to a shocking realisation.
