I’ve always hated the phrase ‘out with the old, in with the new’. It’s derogatory on so many levels – most of which are too important to go into in these 250 words. However, when it comes to style, I can take the saying with a pinch of salt. Of course, we all have older pieces in our wardrobes that are more sentimental; my favourite dress, for example, is a £45 Zara number I bought in 2013 that transports me from girly nights out to my honeymoon to last week’s bank holiday with every wear.
