The art of wine Making barrels Tonelería Tevasa, Jerez, Spain Family-owned Tevasa cooperage has a long history of making barrels for Sherry producers, using Spanish red oaks sourced in Galicia, with a minimum age of 75 years. In the cooperage, two workers handle the charring of each barrel, heating the staves over coal fire pits to season and shape them.
