Have you noticed how in vogue gardening has become? From celebs swanning around RHS Chelsea Flower Show to garden design trending on TikTok, plants are the new cool. We’re seeing hydrangeas next to handbags in fashion mags and barely a day goes by without a mention of Monty Don in our news feeds. And it’s true that the pandemic brought a younger crowd out onto the patio – a survey last year* found that 54% of 18-34 year olds would prefer a wander around a garden centre over dancing the night away in a club.
