pages filled

When we started this magazine nearly 15 years ago people greeted our enthusiasm for contemporary realism and painting with a common concern—how will you find enough artists to cover to publish an issue every single month. Well, now, 174 issues later, the reverse is true. The difficulty is finding more pages to cover all the shows, fairs and events happening every month. It seems to be such an exciting moment for art. In this issue alone, we have major feature stories on such wonderful painters as Brad Kunkle, Joseph Todorovitch and Tom and T.M. Nicholas. Last issue, we had major features on Nick Alm, Gabriela Gonzalez Dellosso and Kenny Harris. And just wait until you see what we have planned for May! It just keeps getting better and better. With so many…
