decorating your room for christmas

If your room is blah and Christmas is around the corner, then you might need some ideas to make your room Christmas worthy. At Dollarama, there are many different col-ourful stickers made for walls and windows. Cre-atively stick them as you wish to create a Christ-mas environment. For your bed try adding red, green, blue, or white for that Christmas feel. Use blue pillows with a white bed sheet, for example, place a mini X-mas tree with ornaments by the bedside, and add some fake snowflakes. So if you're having trouble making your room look nice for the holidays, just think of winter or Christmas colours and add anything with those colours to your room. And there you have it! Well, well, well, this truly may be “the most wonderful time of the year.” Christmas is finally here! This is the time to give and to receive many gifts, spend time with family, and to enjoy this beautiful holiday. YOU WILL NEED: • 2 ¾ cups flour (leave a little extra for sprinkling)• 1 tsp. baking soda• ½ tsp. baking powder• 1 cup butter, softened• 1 ½ cups white sugar• 1 egg• 1 tsp. vanilla extract• red and green food colouring INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat your oven to 375°C In a small bowl, whisk together your flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Leave it aside for later. In a larger bowl, cream your butter and sugar until it’s smooth and fluffy. Beat in your egg and vanilla. Little by little, add in your dry ingredients. Divide the cookie dough into 3 separate bowls. Leave one portion plain, colour one portion red, and the other green. Using your hands, combine the 3 portions to create a marble effect and distribute the colours evenly. Don’t mix it too much…

She was raised in Kenya and later went to College in the United States, earning a degree in film and theater studies from Hampshire College.
