EDITOR’S LETTER
It seems astonishing to me that the first issue of Vogue I edited was published five years ago this month. Granted it was December 2017, the latter half of a different decade, before 60 months of living history at what felt like warp speed. Yet it really does seem like a lifetime ago, not least because of the level of change we’ve all witnessed in the world of fashion and beyond. I’m not especially given to looking back – what’s next will always grab my attention – but pausing for a moment, it is heartening to look through the pages of this issue here in my office at Vogue House and see a magazine that, I hope, feels effortless in its representation.
