For its Pre-Fall 2020 campaign, Dior Men takes inspiration from its Miami fashion show with psychedelic pictorial wavers and the letters making up “Dior” unfold in black and white as the backdrop of the campaign. This design echoes the one created by Shawn Stussy for the brand’s Pre-Fall 2020 collection. The campaign was lensed by Steven Meisel. Ludwig Wilsdorf, Thatcher Thornton, Jecardi Skyes, Issa Naciri and Max Wetcher modeled the selected looks for the campaign. The collection itself draws inspiration from a wide range of styles and eras, but the main focus is the eye-catching patterns and colors. The campaign succeeds in translating a runway show into a series of still images and the idea of Miami and Dior’s modern vision enhanced by Stussy’s graphic identity.…

a contemporary mindset

Kris Van Assche consistently intensifies Berluti’s take on its heritage, transposing the brand’s shoemaking expertise to tailoring. This is the second fall/winter collection by Van Assche for Berluti, and for the campaign, he portrays a conversation between contrasts, old and new and marrying bourgeois and rebel styles. The fall/winter 2020 campaign was shot by London-based photographer Julien Martinez Leclerc. With black sands and the sea as the background, models Jun Young Hwang, Lucas EL Bali, Olaniyan Olamijuwon and Tobias Dionisi showcased the highlights of the collection and captured it in a unique distortion. The images definitely fit Assche’s vision for a progressive future for Berluti.…

Italian house Fendi collaborates with Los Angeles visual artist Joshua Vides for its Pre-Fall 2020 collection called “California Sky.” To complete the experience of the collection, Fendi has also launched its Pre-Fall 2020 campaign. To that end, photographer Matt set his models against various architectural elements of Los Angeles’ sprawl. The juxtaposition between Vide’s catchy black and white iconography, the lighting and the line of the background is brought to life by models Niko Traubman, Faith Lynch and Ajani Russel. The trio exudes positive vibes as they take to the streets for an evening out. Fendi showed that whether in Rome or Los Angeles, they know how to have fun.…
