prime time

My go-to primary mix in a modern-day Memphis bedside light. A monograph for the master of ROYGBIV. My everyday neutral is a matte red lip. Taxi yellow throne = perfect statement for any room. Going green, NYC-style. Taking things back to the basics with an update on a classic. Filled with amazing artwork and stained-glass windows, the colors in Ellsworth Kelly’s newly opened Austin chapel channel my all-time favorite palette. The ultimate vessels for your next Bauhaus-themed dinner party. Art for your floors, this rug gives off equal parts Scandi and ’80s feels. A red-hot floor lamp for the bold and daring. holiday house nyc: domino kitchen takes center stage

In November of 2017, Holiday House NYC celebrated its 10th anniversary with a fresh look. It was founded by interior designer and breast cancer survivor Iris Dankner with a simple concept: allow interior designers to display their talents in a show home that raises funds for breast cancer research. In partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Holiday House has raised millions of dollars, and has expanded to the Hamptons and London as well. Domino was thrilled to partner with Holiday House and construct its first-ever kitchen space! We called on friend-of-Domino and über-talented New York City–based interior designer Young Huh to make our kitchen concept a reality. She is known for her classically eclectic style, accented by a bold and contemporary edge. Huh channeled the style DNA of Domino with…

Who doesn’t want to carry a pocket(book) full of sunshine? A sculptural citrus squeezer in a refreshing palette brightens up any kitchen counter. Pattern perfection that’s the ideal spring cover-up. My favorite colors in a geniusly designed cutout rug. I often refer back to this De Kooning piece. He’s such a master of color. The amazing collage effect of this glass plate is a work of art! Everybody looks better bathed in a rose-hued glow. Raf Simons’s electric design is a slice of pure luxury. This chic swimsuit is what I’ll be wearing every day on an upcoming trip to Hawaii. I get a burst of energy when I see these lemony linen sheets first thing in the morning. Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; purchase with funds from the Friends of the Whitney Museum of American Art 60.63.…

royal rust

A silk caftan that goes smoothly from day to night is my go-to uniform. Dreaming of having this Fraggle Rock fringe on my bed. I love the Beetlejuice vibe of these chalky cobalt vases. Modern design in an earthy material creates the perfect balance.> My road trip to the Hoover Dam led to my current favorite color combo: cobalt and terracotta-a saturated take on sky and land. What coffee table doesn’t need a bolt of Yves Klein blue? An over-the-top shape with concealed drawers is the ultimate in form-meets-function. Reinvent the everyday plastic pitcher in ultramarine glass. This chair makes me feel like I’m sitting in a desert flower. Serve guests an end-of-dinner mezcal or espresso shot to get the dance party started.…
