With travel restrictions being lifted around the globe, travel patterns are gradually resuming to what they were pre-pandemic. Furthermore, with June coinciding with the mid-year holiday period for schools in Singapore, many families are planning to head off to another country to enjoy some much-needed time out of the country. But some are preferring to wait out the rush instead, and that isn’t a bad idea too. Growing up overseas, I’ve always missed being in Singapore, and now that I’m back I seldom feel the need to escape from the city.
