The Nativity is the greatest story ever told – and now you can tell it in yarn! Ann Franklin’s gorgeous ‘knitivity’ includes all the characters from the classic scene, from the Holy Family to the three wise men bearing their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh – and even the trusty donkey who carried Mary to Bethlehem. Knitting these figures is a lovely way to evoke happy memories of school Christmas plays, and the set is sure to become a family heirloom to display every year. The beauty of these patterns is that you can customise some of them – such as the colours of the wise men’s robes – to ensure your Nativity set is unique.
