‘Yay! The LRO Show is back’ If the amount of correspondence we’ve had about it is anything to go by, every Land Rover owner has been waiting for news about the LRO Show. And we’re pleased to confirm it will happen at Peterborough on 11-12 September, as we originally announced last year. We were waiting to see what would be allowed under government guidelines – being such a huge event, the show is subject to different rules to those that apply to smaller events, and we’ve made sure it can go ahead safely. Just as I’m considering diving back into the Disco 3 for shelter, the unmistakable thrum of a six-cylinder engine comes into earshot, followed by a rasp of turbo whistle. I can barely contain my excitement as the 90 looms into view, its vibrant Estoril Blue paintwork popping against the gloomy grey surroundings. I’m in deepest Lincolnshire, at Wiseman’s Engineering’s new premises.
