It’s made by a father for his four-year-old daughter and it brings a ‘can do’ approach to the daunting challenges that face us by concentrating on solutions that are available today. One of these solutions is organic regenerative agriculture – and it is surely no co-incidence that the acronym for this is ORA – life. attention please!

What do you think of the cover of this magazine? Arresting? Confronting? Alarming? Something else? Whatever it was, we hope it made you look – and think. When considering cover images, we’re looking to attract those of you who buy the magazine from a retailer. Our loyal subscribers get the magazine anyway – thank you! – although of course the covers have to be in keeping with our ethos. This bold cover is sitting on shop shelves amongst other magazines that no doubt feature gorgeous and stylish Christmas themes, or light, bright summery images. Will readers want to pop a suited-up spray contractor into their shopping basket or trolley along with their festive goodies? When choosing some summer holiday reading, will they think this might be a bit heavy, and opt for…

something to crow about!

Just letting you know we love your magazine, and our eight-year-old, Eden, was looking over some old volumes and couldn’t help but draw the cover of Organic NZ volume 75 number 3 (May/June 2016). We thought you may like to see how you reach the younger generation as well as the older. Hamish and Dawn Fryer Waipu Thank you so much – that has made our day. It’s a very handsome rooster, and great to see some additional farmyard background in the drawing. We love getting photos and drawings from readers. Keep up the great work, Eden! – Ed.] This month’s winning letter writers (and illustrator) are Hamish, Dawn and Eden Fryer. Congratulations! You receive a $50 voucher to spend on your choice of delicious, nutritious organic Purebread products. purebread.co.nz…
