You and Adam De Vine play characters that relive the same night. Would you want to do that in real life? There are definitely days I’d want to do again and those I’d try to change. But the film makes an interesting point: How much can you actually control and how much is meant to be? How do you spend your downtime? If I’ve just finished a job, I’ll sit on the couch and do nothing. I don’t know if that’s healthy, but it’s so nice to watch TV and order takeout for a few days. Then what? Then I like to go the beach, see a movie, see friends. I have sort of a non-exciting life in L.A., strangely enough. What always puts you in a good mood?…

Two years after television news reporter Alison Parker was fatally shot during a live interview (People, Sept. 14, 2015), her boyfriend, former TV anchor Chris Hurst, 30, defeated an NRA-backed incumbent for a seat in the Virginia House of Delegates. “I think Alison would be very proud,” says Hurst, who campaigned in part on a platform of “commonsense gun reform.” Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, were killed live on the air by Vester Flanagan, a former employee at the Roanoke, Va., TV station where they worked. (Flanagan later killed himself.) Before Parker’s death, Hurst never had political aspirations, but the murders changed his path. “We want to prevent what happened to Alison and Adam,” he says, “and do everything we can to keep more people from dying…

Which is why, five months into her second pregnancy with John Legend (they’re having a boy!), the model was open about once again conceiving via in vitro fertilization. (Their daughter Luna Simone, 22 months, was also conceived via IVF.) “I feel really good, and I have a ton of energy,” Teigen says about her second time around. “I don’t know if it’s the IVF, but I feel like I’m so prepped for pregnancy that by the time we’re actually pregnant, just having it happen is a relief.” The Lip Sync…
