IN THE VAST space of design, opinions will inevitably be split across the spectrum of what constitutes the best of design. Even the great artist Salvador Dali commented that one need not have fear of perfection for the simple reason that it is unattainable. In this light, we attempt to compile a selection of good designs (and also elucidate on five terrible ones). Welcome to our Design & Home issue, two sections inextricably linked by the idea that one’s home also reflects one’s leanings on the weighty subject of design.
