You gotta see the show – it’s a dynamo, it’s rock and roll
There’s no immediate comparison to be drawn between Las Vegas (USA) and Bristol (UK). But although our boots have barely cooled after CES 2015 (p24, and covered extensively at whathifi.com), later this month we’re off to the Sound and Vision Show (p28, and covered extensively etc). Bristol may arguably lack some of the Vegas glamour, but in quite a few ways it’s the more enjoyable event. It’s on a more manageable scale, for starters. And there’s a bit more of an emphasis on real-world products of interest to real-world consumers (like the brilliantly affordable speakers tested on p32, for example, or p65’s headphones test).
