The royal family was rocked by the fallout from Prince Andrew’s ‘delusional’TV interview this week. But there was no sign of tension for young royals, Prince William and Duchess Kate, as they put on a united front at the annual Royal Variety Performance at the Palladium Theatre in London this week. Kate, who wore an Alexander McQueen gown, was animated as she and William chatted to the cast of Mary Poppins, The Musical, before making their way inside. The show, which supports the Royal Variety Charity of which the Queen is patron, was hosted by comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, who jokingly introduced the royal couple saying they were on a “date night”.
