When something as senseless as the death of Minneapolis man George Floyd occurs, it’s human instinct to want to do something to help create change. But this week, like many people, I’ve really grappled with exactly how to do that – what can I do? What should I say? Is it even my place? What if I say the wrong thing? I will never fully understand the experience of a person of colour, so am I better off just staying silent?
