She’s certainly a glass half-full person and so when her and now-husband Lee Elliott’s Italian wedding was cancelled due to COVID-19 last year, she decided to recreate it in beautiful Tasmania. Turn to page 8 to see all the stunning images of the couple’s big day – under the Tas-can sun. Fellow Bachelor alum Brittany Hockley has also found The One after enduring heartbreak on national TV. She shares the details of her new romance with tennis player Jordan Thompson on page 26. A couple who have stood the test of time and bucked the Hollywood trend are Ellen DeGeneres and…

kathleen folbigg is she innocent?

Whenever criminologist and forensic anthropologist Dr Xanthé Mallett visits Kathleen Folbigg in prison, she walks away with a new-found respect for the convicted killer. Dr Mallett is not an advocate for Folbigg, who in 2003 was found guilty of the suffocation murders of three of her children and the manslaughter of her first-born baby, but she does find “serious problems” with her case. “I respect her strength to keep fighting,” says Dr Mallett, an associate professor at the University of Newcastle who studied Folbigg’s case for her 2014 book Mothers Who Murder: And Infamous Miscarriages of Justice. “I visit her as an objective observer, and I’ve always found myself questioning the reliability of the evidence against her.” Now, a group of eminent scientists have gone a step further. On March 4, in…

lee & georgia a dream come true

Like many couples due to tie the knot in 2020, Georgia Love and Lee Elliott have battled through plenty of COVID-related cancellations and devastating delays over the past year. But the former Bachelorette, 32, finally married the man of her dreams in a whimsical wedding on March 5, describing the day as a “literal dream come true”. Although they had originally planned a lavish wedding in Italy last year – which was quashed due to border closures – Love and Elliott, 39, ended up celebrating with a decidedly Aussie affair in Tasmania. The pair married in a stunning outdoor ceremony at the Frogmore Creek Winery estate, before guests hopped on London-style red double-decker buses to the Shene Distillery for a fun-filled reception. Love wore two gowns during the festivities – a stunning…

On March 1, Britney Spears posted a photo of herself posing with Sean, 15, and Jayden, 14, the teenage sons she shares with her ex, Kevin Federline. “It’s so crazy how time flies,” she wrote in her caption. “My boys are so big now!!!!” While the pop star, 39, was feeling nostalgic, her beau Sam Asghari, 27, has his sights set on a bright future for them both. In a new interview with Forbes, the personal trainer said he is ready to grow in multiple facets of his life. “My priorities in life are to remain humble and understand where I came from and where I’m going,” he said. “I want to take my career to the next step when it comes to acting. current custody drama

While Spears and Federline had a 50-50 custody arrangement since their split in 2006, in September 2019 a judge ruled the singer would only receive 30 per cent custody. The change came after Sean was involved in a physical altercation with his grandfather Jamie while under Spears’care.“It was important to Kevin that regardless of this event that the kids still had continuing and meaningful contact with their mother,” Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan told WHO’s sister publication People. In March 2020, Jayden took to Instagram to criticise Jamie –“He’s a pretty big d--k,”he said – but had nothing but positive words for Federline, calling him “literally Jesus”, while also praising Asghari.“I like Sam. He’s good, he’s nice,” he said. BACKGRID (1); SPLASH (1); INSTAGRAM (3)…
