welcome

Welcome to the first issue of 2021, and it’s a milestone one at that – this is the 1500th issue of WHO! It fills me with great pride to be part of this magazine’s history going into 2021, especially following a very tough year. There is something about a new year that always fills me with hope and excitement. I’m also a big fan of making resolutions – big or small, I think it’s important to aspire to something. I’ve decided to put health and fitness at the forefront and get strong. If that’s one of your goals, too, turn to page 12 for our 10-page summer body special. I’ve also decided to overhaul my wardrobe finally and donate my clothes I no longer wear to charity. The lifestyle team have put…

tom cruise finding love again

Working together on the seventh instalment of the Mission: Impossible franchise, Tom Cruise and his co-star Hayley Atwell have raised eyebrows with their level of intimacy, on and off the set. “Tom and Hayley hit it off from day one,” a source told UK’s The Sun, which also reported the pair were seen holding hands at a public screening, as well as in between filming. For months, Cruise, 58, and Atwell, 38, have been together filming the big-budget action sequel, which halted production in Italy back in February due to the coronavirus outbreak. They eventually resumed in Rome in October, only to be shutdown for a week after positive COVID-19 tests. The production then moved to London where Cruise made news, after a two-minute recording of his expletive-filled rant at crew…

katie & emilio getting serious!

After a high-profile split from Tom Cruise in 2012, Katie Holmes kept her next relationship with Jamie Foxx on the down low. Since September 2020, the actress has been less low key about her romance with chef Emilio Vitolo Jnr. The pair were first linked when they were spotted on a date at his restaurant on September 4. They have since been spotted out and about in New York City. For Holmes’ 42nd birthday on December 18, they acknowledged their relationship publicly for the first time. “The most amazing, kindest, beautiful person,”Vitolo, 33, captioned his birthday post, shared by Holmes. “Every time I see your face, it makes me smile. Happy Birthday!!! I love you!!” A source tells WHO’s sister publication People magazine that the pair seem in it for…

low-key wedding plans

Like many engaged couples in 2020, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were left disappointed when the pandemic forced them to cancel their wedding plans. “It was all set for Japan with 150 guests. Katy was actually really excited about walking down the aisle pregnant,” a source close to the couple revealed earlier this year. “They were both so elated that all the wedding details were finally coming together, but they are hitting pause because of coronavirus.” “It’s really all about going with the flow”– PERRY Just a few months later, the singer, 36, admitted that she’d given up attempting to make wedding plans and was instead focusing on the impending arrival of their daughter. “I tried to do it this year, and it poopooed on me, so ask me again in another…

their new normal

With little Daisy Dove in tow, life is certainly different for Perry and Bloom. The singer returned to work on American Idol less than two months after welcoming their daughter, with Bloom taking some time off from acting to be a stay-at-home dad.“Orlando has made Daisy his priority and slashed a lot of his work time to stay home,” a source said of the star. “He is super-involved.” While Perry found the adjustment hard at first, the singer shared that she felt relieved knowing Daisy was in capable hands. “Daddy’s doing a great job,” she joked after a few days back on set.“Daddy has stepped in. I’ve seen him with the bottle, I’ve seen all the pictures. It’s all good.”…
