With the sun finally shining during my recent holiday, I took the opportunity to check out some of the books featured in our Summer Reading Special (page 88). It was great to kick back outdoors and read something not on a screen! I’m currently burning through U2 frontman Bono’s bio, Surrender, but now we’re retuning to work, those lazy days spent with a good book are fast becoming a distant memory, sadly. This issue also highlights the work being done by 15 inspiring Australian women. Whether they’re household names, like abuse survivor advocate Grace Tame, or quiet achievers like Rachael Natoli, who founded the Lokahi Foundation to help women enduring domestic violence, these leaders are the best of us and it’s an honour to showcase their work (from page 26) both…
