Years ago I was at a Paris station waiting to catch the Eurostar train back to London, when I spotted a very familiar face. So much so that I almost went up to them, who admittedly looked way cooler than anyone I’d know, to say hello! Just before I could make my cringey move, I realised that it was none other than Kate Moss. Yes, I was starstruck. No, I didn’t ask for a selfie. The thing with Moss is, she’s been stratospherically famous for nearly three decades yet she hardly ever speaks publicly, instead completely embodying the ‘never explain, never complain’ ethos.
