Ever since the first season of The Crown arrived on our screens, I’ve been gripped. I can’t wait for the upcoming fifth season (airing on Netflix from November 9). And thanks to the behind-the-scenes pics that have emerged from filming of its final season (to air next year), the program is courting controversy for portraying the final days leading up to Princess Diana’s death. Some feel that recreating those events is insensitive, both in light of the Queen’s death and that it could be re-traumatising for Princes William and Harry in particular. Not only did she recently welcome her third child, and second with husband Thomas Kail, but the 42-year-old is also ringing in her daughter Matilda’s 17th birthday. Williams and the theatre director, 44, whom she married back in 2020, were seen kissing and cuddling in New York as they watched their 2-year-old boy, Hart, explore the neighbourhood on October 30. Their newest arrival was there too, snuggled up against the actress in a baby carrier. The final two seasons of the show focus on events of the 1990s and early 2000s, a period that threw up a series of scandals from which the royals took years to recover. It’s official: Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady have called it quits on their 13 years of marriage. The former glamour couple broke the news via Instagram, with the supermodel, 42, telling fans they simply “grew apart”. As for the NFL quarterback, he followed up his own social media announcement with an episode of his Let’s Go! podcast, where he said “the good news is” the divorce is “very amicable”. Christina Applegate is finding the fun in her condition by sharing a picture on Twitter of her accessory options ahead of an event. “This will be my first time out since diagnosed with MS,” she said. “Walking sticks are now part of my new normal.” The Anchorman star, 50, shared her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in August 2021. She said at the time, “It’s been a tough road. But the road keeps going. Nick Cannon’s Christmas gift list has just expanded, after the TV and radio host revealed baby number 12 is on the way. Model Alyssa Scott, 29, announced her pregnancy via Instagram, sharing a picture of her baby bump while holding daughter Zeela, 4. “With you by my side,” she captioned the post. This is wonderful news for the model and Cannon, a year on from the death of their 5-month-old son, Zen, to a rare brain tumour.
