When the photos started coming in from this issue’s shoots and the stories began to take shape, I was hit with a pretty good feeling. All the pics of pools, decks and outdoor rooms could only mean one thing – warmer weather is on its way. It’s not just the prospect of sunny days and balmy nights that appeals so much, but the loosening up of social occasions and family interactions. Friends pop round and stay for dinner, the kids stay up later playing in the garden and no one worries about wearing shoes. Life feels less hurried, more spontaneous and way more fun. Bring it on.
