Sami prepares to become Mrs. Lucas Horton again, unaware that he orchestrated her kidnapping last year. “She is completely on board to marry him,” begins Alison Sweeney (Sami). “She’s tired of all of the complications and drama and emotion in Salem with EJ and everything, and she is really ready to settle down and be with Lucas and be happy.” But that doesn’t mean EJ is far from her mind. “Of course, she has mixed feelings,” notes Sweeney. “I think Sami has that ability to bifurcate her thinking. She believes that EJ was behind her kidnapping and that he lied to her about it, so he’s dead to her. That’s the end. He’s trying to piece together the story of what’s really going on here. For the moment, Finn is just attempting to lay low and gather as much information as he can while listening to those two bicker back and forth.” Sheila sees that her son’s eyes are open and goes to his bedside. Instead, she discovers that her top designer is quitting. “Lauren is definitely shocked and a little upset at first because there are important deadlines coming up and now Chelsea is telling her that she basically has nothing,” previews Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea). “After Chelsea explains that her mental health is at risk, Lauren becomes understanding.
