The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stopped by the University of Cambridge’s Fitzwilliam Museum June 23 to unveil their first double portrait to the public. “It’s quite big,” an impressed Prince William told artist Jamie Coreth. “Amazing!” The life-size oil painting captures William and Kate, both 40, in a casual pose. “I wanted to show Their Royal Highnesses in a manner where they appeared both relaxed and approachable, as well as elegant and dignified,” explained the artist, who has also depicted the duke’s aunt, Princess Anne.
