As soon as I walked in her door on Christmas Eve, May would dash away from the stove, leaving her soup-a-simmering, her cheese straws-a-baking, and her chocolate candy-a-cooling. This British territory’s historical ties with Southern ports results in a unique culture where the joie de vivre of island life blends with the classic manners of the British and the genteel hospitality of the South. Bermuda’s scenery takes your breath away—crystal blue waves crash against blushing pink sand beaches; white limestone roofs climb into the sky, perched atop churches and houses painted in a rainbow of saturated pastels. But the true beauty of this island is the people, and the wonderful way they make you feel right at home. In addition to being the Chief Creative Officer and Co-President of Hoffman Media, I’m also the…
