Cherry Garibaldi Biscuits from British Issue Hello! I’d like to try the Cherry Garibaldi Biscuits recipe on page 55 of the July/August issue and want to check about what I think may be an error. Should the instruction to stir in the cherries (it appears before the instruction to add the cream and milk) be removed? Based on the introduction to the recipe, it sounds like the cherries should just be scattered over the dough, as described later in the recipe? Before I began my tea profession, I was a choral conductor and baritone soloist for 22 years. Music was my vocation—my “calling”—and a pathway for channeling my artist’s spirit. Most of all, music provided a passport to a world filled with magnificent ideas and experiences. It wasn’t long before the tea ritual infused my life, as it became a companion on my musical journey. I eventually put down my baton and picked up a teacup for my new vocation in the world of tea. Throughout the 14 years that my wife, Shelley, also a musician, and I operated the Elmwood Inn Tearoom, musical friends would frequently drop by to entertain our guests.
