Add drops of blending solution or rubbing alcohol to boost blending power. RUBBING ALCOHOL Use rubbing alcohol to dilute alcohol inks. Spray alcohol onto applied inks to create a marbled effect. GLOBE TREKKER A three-light chandelier sets an adventurous dining scene, this photo. Start by removing any hardware from the globes. Use a hole saw drill bit to drill a hole through the top of the globe large enough to fit a 11/2-inch light socket. Drill a second hole at the bottom of the globe. Cut off the bottom portion with a saber saw and small blade (we followed the line that runs through Argentina as our guide). Sand any rough edges. To allow for more light to shine through the fixture, drill small holes at random points around the globe. Install the cord kit, and wire into the electrical box in the ceiling.
