On September 10, 2014, then Communications minister Faith Muthambi, issued a statement saying, “Denying a child an education is a crime”.
If this is not a crime in our education system, then we need to seriously evaluate if it is in our interest to support the governing party at the polls on November 1.
By retrenching teachers, we are condemning a whole generation to illiteracy. Education is a fundamental right to development and growth.
