Our homes reflect this too, with many of our residences boasting beautiful indoor-outdoor living spaces to enhance our home designs and lifestyles. Luckily, we have some expert builders to help us do this Our pages this issue are jam-packed with excellent tips, tricks and advice to help you on your home building journey. what’s new and what’s hot?

STAVE OFF COLD FEET THIS WINTER Keep your family’s feet toasty warm through winter with an under-tile heating system. Beaumont Tiles marries efficiency with industryleading technology to bring an all-round heating experience that’s head and shoulders above the competition. “The system heats a room to a cosy 22 degrees,” explains Darcy Shaw, national buyer for Beaumont Tiles. “It also creates a drier environment by radiating heat to all solid objects.” Heat is equally distributed across the house through a touch-screen wall thermostat, providing a superior warming experience as opposed to traditional unmanageable heat lamps, which can create pockets of hot air. Staying true to its heritage, Beaumont Tiles has maximised energy efficiency, so expect to use only a quarter of the running cost that a heat lamp uses in a year. On top…

custom-built homes

For homebuilders who know exactly what they want, there is no substitute for a custom-built house. Finding a reputable builder is the first, and perhaps most important, step in the process towards creating your dream home — one designed with your needs, style and site in mind. A custom builder will guide you through everything, from the design to the construction stage, and will work towards making your wishes a reality. Your builder can also coordinate and manage the whole project to ensure everything stays on track and the end result lives up to your expectations.…

within reach

Bellmarch Homes is known for its luxury project homes. Its newest, situated in Kellyville, is a departure from pricier — and at times unreachable — custom designs. This is good news for first-home buyers who may have been missing out because of smaller budgets. “We wanted to showcase ‘custom build’ features at an affordable ‘project home’ price,” says Mark Cairney, Sales and Marketing Manager at Bellmarch Homes. Through smart designing, the company optimised the use of space in a house that only spans 46m2. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms — not to mention the powder room — are spread over the two storeys. A suspended custom staircase joins the two levels, its glass-paned railing and 3m-high ceilings adding to the open style of the house. Outside, a roofless verandah skirts around the house,…
