For my family, trimming a towering evergreen with shimmering lights, cascades of ribbon, and our cache of cherished ornaments is an annual tradition to be savored. “Decking the Halls,” which begins on page 9, offers glimpses of classic interiors dressed for the season, with inspiration aplenty for adding grace notes throughout the home.
