The world-renowned photographer has most consistently been associated with Vogue and its sister titles, shooting supermodels from Christy Turlington to Laetitia Casta and some of the most spectacular interiors (homes of David Hockney and Cy Twombly) for more than 20 years. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts and is known for a longtime collaboration with the late Condé Nast art director Alexander Liberman. Advertising campaigns have included Armani, Ralph Lauren, Burberry and Yves Saint Laurent, but his heart now belongs in architectural work.
