royals on the move

It’s official: Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry are moving house! After weeks of being plagued by rumours of being “difficult” to work for after the resignation of three staff, the duchess and her prince are moving into Windsor Castle’s Frogmore Cottage, and out of Kensington Palace where Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge live. The cottage, a smaller home surrounded by lush vegetation, will undergo a fresh renovation to include a nursery and space for a personal gym and studio for yoga, which Meghan is known to be an avid fan of. Their spokesperson said the home was “a special place” for the couple, who held their wedding at Windsor in May and will welcome their first bub early next year. They held their evening wedding party…

darryn lyons ‘people are assassinated in different ways’

The world will never truly know what happened on the night of Princess Diana’s death – these are the words of former celebrity paparazzo Darryn Lyons who, 21 years on, still believes there’s a huge number of unanswered questions surrounding that fateful evening in Paris. Now, in a tell-all interview with WHO, Lyons has likened the death of the “people’s princess” to that of US President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated as he rode his motorcade through Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas, on Nov. 22, 1963. “Knowing people assassinate people in different ways, I think there are questions still to be answered,” Lyons says matter-of-factly. “Just like there is a huge amount relating to the death of JFK and whether or not he was he killed by the FBI. In…

SPORTING BAGGY CLOTHES AND A cap, convicted drug smuggler Renae Lawrence was spotted working up a sweat at a beachside park on the Central Coast of NSW on Monday, Nov. 26. The 41-year-old, who spent 13 long years behind bars in Bali prisons after a failed plot to smuggle more than 8kg of heroin out of Indonesia in April 2005, could be seen doing push-ups, squats and lunges – and making the most of the sunshine, fresh air and coastline as she settles back into “normal” life following her release from Bangli Prison on Nov. 21. natalie portman’s australian getaway

AUSTRALIA MAY BE HOME TO huge Hollywood stars such as Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky, but it manages to reel in a few famous tourists, too – most recently Vox Lux star Natalie Portman and her family. On Nov. 19, a relaxed Portman was spotted meeting wildlife at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on the Gold Coast with her husband, French dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied, their son Aleph, 7, and daughter Amalia, 1. In the snaps captured at the popular park, fans were given a rare peek into the world of the Israeli-born movie star, who usually tries to keep her children and her private life away from the public eye. It wasn’t the only Aussie day out for the No Strings Attached star, 37, and her family, who also stopped by at…

tribal slaying ‘i know i’m going to die’

The members of the Sentinelese tribe on India’s Andaman Islands are among some of the last off-grid tribes in the world. Very little is known about the “stone-age” people, but that didn’t stop 26-year-old Christian missionary John Allen Chau from attempting to befriend the indigenous group, getting himself killed in the process. On Nov. 15, US-based Chau jetted over to the island on a boat chartered from some fishermen, but upon his arrival the tribe became upset, firing an arrow, which narrowly missed Chau and struck the Bible he was carrying instead. This didn’t deter the traveller from returning the next day to try again. During his second attempt to reach the Sentinelese, Chau was killed by a shower of arrows launched at him, before his body was buried in the…
