on the road with the royals

I can’t get enough of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex! Harry’s genuine love for Africa, a place he calls his “second home,” was obvious in pictures posted of the prince with locals in Pitseng, Lesotho, where he opened a school and a house on behalf of the Sentebale charity—one he co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. It’s authentic the way both Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, act when they’re on official and non-official duties. Just days before Harry flew to Africa, Meghan made her Royal Ascot debut alongside the Queen who, insiders say, Meghan has developed a really special bond with. Wearing an off-white Givenchy dress, the Duchess of Sussex looked relaxed as she smiled at onlookers and chatted to family. Hope you enjoy the issue! GETTY IMAGES; INSTAGRAM;…

fairytale wedding

Their on-screen romance may have been ill-fated but Game of Thrones co-stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie finally got their happy ending when they tied the knot in Scotland on June 23. The actors, who fell in love while playing characters Jon Snow and wildling Ygritte alongside each other for three seasons on the HBO fantasy series, exchanged vows in a romantic ceremony at Rayne Church near the bride’s ancestral home, Wardhill Castle, in Aberdeenshire. Speaking outside the 900-year-old family castle, Leslie’s father, Sebastian, said he was “absolutely thrilled” about the wedding. “It’s an absolutely lovely day for us,” he told The Independent. Accompanied by his best man and groomsmen, a nervous-looking Harington, 31, arrived at the ornate church in a humble minivan. Trading his character’s woolly cloak for a traditional morning suit…

cast party

Harington told producers he wanted the whole cast to attend the ceremony. “I was like, ‘You need to factor in a Game of Thrones wedding by the way.’ They [the cast] have all got to be there so the whole thing has got to shut down,” he said. stars up front

FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE SHE WAS robbed at gunpoint in October 2016, Kim Kardashian West returned to Paris on June 23 for Men’s Fashion Week, where she, Kanye West, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott supported their pal Virgil Abloh—named Louis Vuitton menswear director in March—at his debut show. Sources tell WHO that Kim “seemed in a good mood” and was “absolutely not” afraid. Also enthusiastic was Rihanna, who posted, “Proud of you, bro” to Abloh—the first African American artistic director for Louis Vuitton’s menswear. On June 21, Victoria Beckham (see p. 18) joined high-wattage celebrities such as Kate Moss, Kelly Osbourne and Robert Pattinson to celebrate the first collection by English designer Kim Jones, whose atelier she visited the day before. “Thank u @brooklynbeckham for being my date today!”…

LEAVING THE HIP BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood on June 24, new mum Khloé Kardashian sparked speculation she has forgiven her NBA star beau, Tristan Thompson. Proving she’s determined to put his cheating scandal—which surfaced two days before she gave birth to their daughter, True, on April 12—behind them, the star brandished a large engagement-like ring on her left hand as she celebrated a friend’s birthday. “Khloé looked great,” a source tells WHO of Kardashian, who wore a tight black dress and Yeezy heels for her night out. “She wore a huge new ring.” Contrary to reports the pair looked tense, an onlooker told ET Online the new parents seemed happy and “toasted to each other ... during two separate occasions throughout the night.” The couple have returned from Cleveland, where Thompson plays…

meet the twins

HE WAS ONCE KNOWN AS Hollywood’s perennial bachelor, but new dad George Clooney proved he’s taken to fatherhood as successfully as his film roles when he was seen with his twins for the first time. The 57-year-old actor with wife Amal, 40, protectively cradled their 1-year-olds Ella and Alexander, in their arms as they stepped off a private plane in Sardinia, Italy, on June 23. Wearing a pair of floral flares by Talbot Runhof, the human-rights lawyer held baby Ella, while her doting husband, who is sporting a moustache for his role in TV series Catch-22 , held Alexander and a children’s storybook. Amal recently offered a rare insight into their home life when she honoured George with an American Film Institute Life Achievement Award in LA. “Seeing you with our children, Ella…
