Each year, the Met Gala is like Christmas for a magazine office. All the wonderful (and weird!) looks are such a gift. As the event kicks off, the WHO team gather around the TV, or each other’s computer monitors, to check out each new A-lister as they arrive on the red carpet, and then make sure the unforgettable outfits feature in the mag. This year, Kim Kardashian rocking Marilyn Monroe’s original “Happy Birthday, Mr President” gown stole the show for me – what a statement! Actress Ashley Judd fought back tears as she paid tribute to her mother, country music legend Naomi Judd, just one day after the 76-year-old took her life following a long battle with mental illness.
