THURSDAY, MAY 25 NATIONAL WINE DAY Kick back and relax Toast to this holiday with a light and fruity sangria made with white wine! To make Berry-Mint Sangria: In a large pitcher, using the handle end of a wooden spoon, muddle 2 mint sprigs with ½ cup of peach schnapps. Add 1 (750 ml.) bottle of white wine. Stir in ½ cup of sliced strawberries, ½ cup of fresh raspberries and 1 sliced lemon. Cover and chill at least 4 hrs. When ready to serve, remove muddled mint sprigs and add 1 (12 oz.) can of lemon-lime soda. If desired, stir in fresh mint sprigs.
