We secured the perfect spot for our ceremony, with a secluded circle of pohutukawa trees on the clifftop in one of the parks we had picnicked at early in our relationship. We discussed the look and feel of the ceremony at length and decided on a theme of vintage NZ autumn. Sticking to the fun of DIY, the search for all…

Summer and Sam planned a spectacular wedding that was quintessentially them. Supported by their amazing wedding party, their day was everything they had envisioned and more. Summer shares their story… ‘We got married at Markovina Vineyard Estate in Kumeu, Auckland. Sam and I decided the chestnut tree was exactly where we wanted to say “I do”. We had such a long time to plan our wedding, which meant we could make sure everything was exactly what we wanted, right down to the smallest details. You could describe our wedding as a chic country, woodland fairy tale. Our wedding party was made up of my maid of honour Brittany, and bridesmaids Rebecca and Victoria, and Sam’s bestman Ashton, and groomsmen Thomas and Isaac. They all looked amazing and everyone was so much fun…
