WELCOME Another busy day in the office ended with me sitting on a rock watching the setting sun turn the Spanish coast gold through red to steely blue while photographer Charlie Magee captured last few images of a Pegaso Z-102. After the noisy excitement of driving the car, now was a peaceful time and a last chance to take in its proportions, surfacing and details. For onlooking holidaymakers their reactions were instantaneous, concluding that it’s an exquisite jewel of a car. And everyone I spoke to seemed thrilled to have been able to get so close to something so special. Inevitably some asked what it was worth, and when they heard the answer I sensed them taking a mental step back as a cloak of exclusivity descended around it. I…
