Holden Manz Wine Estate is delighted to announce that its Syrah Reserve 2016 has been awarded Top 10 and Gold Medal in the 2020 Syrah du Monde. 2016 was a special vintage following in the footsteps of the exceptional 2015. The Syrah Reserve was made exclusively from grapes grown on the estate in Franschhoek by Cellar Master Thierry Haberer. Dark red in colour, the Syrah Reserve was barrel aged for 23 months and shows ripe, bold bark fruit on the nose while the wine is silky smooth on the palate with soft, voluptuous tannins and flavours of red fruits and uncrushed black peppercorns!
