ALASDAIR CAMERON Garden designer Ever since he was a boy, Alasdair Cameron has loved being in the garden. Aged 18, he embarked on an interior-design course with a strong focus on garden design. He set up on his own in 1992 and has worked on a wide variety of projects since then, including his own Devon garden (on pages 258-265). His favourite part of this project was being able to ‘harmonise the house with the landscaping – our garden was a blank canvas, so we could settle the house naturally within it’. Which plant is currently your favourite? ‘Crataegus, which blossoms in spring and bears berries in autumn.
