LOUISE JONES Interior designer Complete with a white picket fence and climbing roses, the home of interior designer Louise Jones in south London is more akin to a country cottage than an urban residence – both inside and out (from page 128). This is much to do with her knack for creating comfortable rooms by sourcing antique furniture – no distressed fnishes here – and mixing it with modern fabrics and all the conveniences required of this century. ‘I started thinking about interiors the day I started working as an accountant,’ she says. An unlikely trigger perhaps, but this resulted in her ‘realising the huge mistake I’d made and how I need to satisfy my creative side’.
