I's strange how those 'aha' moments sometimes take years to strike. As I walked around among our readers at our recent sewing weekend in Cullinan , looking at their half-finished aprons , it occurred to me that a few rows of stitches could turn a piece of plain white fabric into something special. Nothing too complicated or difficult , not expensive and not time-consuming. Some decorative stitches with your sewing machine and there you have it - a lovely gift.
