be informed!

It gives me great pleasure to present to you our November issue. It is jam-packed with interesting and informative articles, all to help you formulate and promote the Biblical Worldview. “The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.” –Proverbs 22:3 Christians often don’t stand up for issues of the day, preferring to take a back seat, hoping that all things will just work out. Well – sadly – they don’t, and then all society suffers. We are living in very volatile and dangerous times. Volatile, as the laws of life are changing daily, and God’s laws are being challenged at every possible level. We, the chosen people of God, have been tasked with representing Christ and His…

salvation prayer

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the Name of Jesus. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself; I need your forgiveness and salvation. I believe that Jesus died on the Cross, and on the third day He rose to be with You. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I invite Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Saviour and I surrender my life to Him. Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace that has saved me from my sins. Please, Lord Jesus, transform my life so that I may bring glory and honour to You alone and not to myself. Thank you Jesus for the gift of eternal life. ■…

kingdom prayer life

Often our prayers appear to only hit the ceiling and we wonder why the Lord does not answer. Jesus taught the most powerful prayer ever prayed and He directed it to the Kingdom lifestyle. The problem that many Christians fail to realise is that unless we totally surrender to the Lordship of Jesus, we cannot expect to walk in the victory He has promised every child of God. In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus promised us four things that encompass all our needs. We could have our daily needs met. Forgiveness was not an option, but a commandment of the Father. The Holy Spirit would lead us away from all temptation and we could experience deliverance from evil and the evil one. The problem is that we…

the most significant cause

Mark Twain once observed: ‘Many a small thing has been made large by the right kind of advertising.’ In different ways, we are repeatedly told that this or that hot topic is the most pressing issue of our day. Education, poverty, world peace, the environment, issues of race, class, and gender, and psychological trauma have all made such claims. It follows that whatever we think is the most pressing issue is that which we should give substantial time, ability, and money towards. A look at history will tell us that while these are important issues, none of them provide a foundational cornerstone to regenerate a sick world. As examples, Nazi-controlled Germany was the most literate nation in the world at the time. The experience of many Western nations is…

the value of living by faith

Values are a set of beliefs and practices that we treasure and consider to be important as they form the foundation for the way in which we live our lives. What we truly value finds meaningful expression in our daily lives. The value of living by faith has to do with where we place our trust, and God has the following to say on the matter: Jeremiah 17:5-8 “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord . . . Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord . . .” Are you experiencing rest? The outcomes of these two approaches could not be more different, yet many never experience…
